Printable Thanksgiving Bingo: Picture Cards for Kids and the Whole Family

Bingo is the one game that works at every Thanksgiving table: the 4-year-old can find the pumpkin, Grandma can play with her glasses off, and nobody needs to read. Here is how to set up printable Thanksgiving bingo in five minutes – with picture cards you can download for free.

What you need

  • Bingo cards – one per player (the free download has 6, the full pack 30 different cards)
  • The 24 caller cards, cut out and shuffled in a bowl
  • 25 markers per player: paper squares, coins or cereal
  • One caller – a grown-up or an older child

How to play Thanksgiving bingo

  1. Give every player a card and markers. Cover the FREE square in the middle.
  2. The caller takes one caller card and says the word out loud: “Pumpkin!”
  3. Everyone who has that picture covers it.
  4. The first player with 5 in a row – across, down or corner to corner – shouts “Gobble!” and wins.
  5. If two players finish a row on the same call, they both win.

3 ways to make it more fun

  • Four corners: the first player to cover the 4 corner squares wins.
  • Silly sounds: the caller makes the sound or acts out the picture instead of saying it.
  • Prize plate: the winner chooses the first slice of pie.

Safety with little ones

Dry beans and buttons are classic bingo markers, but they are a choking risk for small children, and no small marker is safe for children under 3. With toddlers at the table, let them point while an adult covers their squares, and keep the markers out of reach.
